The Drop
Quasar was built for momentum. It’s a high-energy roast that bridges the gap between vibrancy and structure — delivering a flavour spectrum that hits hard and fades smooth.
Every Auxiliary drop tells a story through rhythm and balance, and Quasar is no exception. It’s the sound of early mornings and late sessions — bold, expressive, and designed to cut through the noise.
The Origin
Quasar originates from Finca Campo Hermoso, a third-generation family farm in Quindío, Colombia, led by Edwin Noreña — a Q Grader and agroindustrial engineer redefining what modern coffee can be.
Noreña’s experimental processing brings out layers of flavour rarely found in traditional Colombian profiles. His approach combines innovation and intention — every variable fine-tuned for precision and replay value.
Mixdown
Linear Notes: red fruit, honey, citrus
Artist: Edwin Noreña
Label: Finca Campo Hermoso
Track: Castillo
Mastering: Natural anaerobic fermentation
Output: 10 small – 6 large cups
Like a mastered live set, Quasar builds with energy and control.
Each note breaks through with brightness, then resolves in warmth — a blend that feels both cosmic and familiar.
Behind the Name
A quasar is a celestial source of light and energy — distant, powerful, and endlessly radiant. That concept drives this drop: the balance between chaos and control, brightness and depth, flavour and flow.
For Auxiliary, Quasar represents motion — proof that when craft and creativity collide, they create something that shines far beyond the cup.
